Four-star, sustainable eco-resort is nation’s only vegan resort

Stanford Inn’s Ravens restaurant sources organic, local ingredients

The four-diamond Stanford Inn by the Sea, an eco-resort on the North Coast of Mendocino County, has evolved to become the nation’s only vegan resort.

“The most sustainable choice that one human being can make is to be vegan,” said co-owner Jeff Stanford. “For me, it’s a spiritual path and that’s the reason. All these decisions are made from that point of view.”

The Stanford Inn provides 41 guest rooms, a wellness center, a solarium, an indoor pool and its fine-dining restaurant, Ravens.
