One of our greenhouses encloses our pool, spa and sauna as well as a variety of orchids, bougainvillea, hibiscus and other lush tropicals.

The pool is large enough for lap swimming and the climate is always pleasant offering chances to swim or soak on cool, foggy summer mornings, rain winter evenings or just anytime. Before a swim you may enjoy working-out in our exercise room. In your closets. you'll find thick, warm robes to keep the chill off walking to and from the pool.

 At Catch A Canoe & Bicycles, Too! you will find canoes and kayaks which we believe to be representative of the best available. If you have not had the pleasure of paddling a lightweight performance craft, be prepared for a delightful experience. We feature boats form WENONAH, Aquaterra, Ocean Kayak, Dagger, Old Town and Hydra.

You may rent our canoes for exploring Big River Estuary.

Big River is ranked a Class 1, gentle river, suitable for the novice. However, high and low tides and river conditions change daily, so please check with us.

YOGA at the Inn

Time Magazine recently featured Yoga as its cover story. For several years, Andrea Marks has offered a yoga class on Wednesdays for guests and local residents. We are introducing additional classes for beginners and intermediate practitioners of Hatha Yoga.

We are excited to offer individual Yoga classes by Gina Woods our staff instructor. If you are just beginning to think about taking up Yoga, consider a class just for the two of you.

Gina is a certified Hatha Yoga instructor. She has studied in Ashrams in Hawaii and several different learning centers on the west coast. A professional body worker for over 7 years, she draws from her diverse training, experience, and understanding of the human body to assist students attain a greater sense of balance and well being.

With the practice of Yoga you will notice positive, profound physiological and psychological shifts, such as stress reduction, weight management, flexibility, endurance, improved circulation and metabolic function, increased energy, hormonal regulation and much more.

Learn Asana (physical movements), breath work (Pranayama) and meditation that you can take with you anywhere.
