"Transitioning to Health Series" at the Stanford
Inn
(view
online flyer)
In an interactive, informative and fun lecture,
Sid Garza-Hillman teaches the basics of nutrition that can benefit
everyone!
Currently, in the United States, most major diseases (diabetes,
cancer, heart disease etc.) are on the rise, with childhood
behavioral issues and diseases (ADD, ADHD, Hyperactivity, Autism,
Type 2 Diabetes) on the rise as well. Research now conclusively
links virtually all of these to insufficient nutrition. A healthy
diet can help greatly in preventing disease, and can provide
the nutritional support necessary to empower people (especially
children) to increase their overall well-being.
Sid Garza-Hillman brings to light cutting edge nutritional
research in an exciting new way. He shows people how to effectively
and, most im portantly,
easily transition themselves and their families to a much healthier
lifestyle while maintaining the same level of enjoyment of eating.
He provides simple steps anyone can take that have an immediate
and profound effect on his/her health. His classes are substantive,
yet light, fun, and even comedic at times!
Specific topics addressed are:
* Healthy Weight Loss
* Decreasing Inflammation
* Increasing Overall Well-being
* Increasing Energy
* Improving Sleep
* Improving Stamina
Sid Garza-Hillman is a Certified Nutritional Consultant, and
holds a B.A. in Philosophy from U.C.L.A. He owns the Nutritional
Consultant Company "Transitioning to Health." (http://www.transitioningtohealth.net)
