A Special
Time - A Special Place
Of
the major life events, weddings are often the most
joyous - the joining of two people, two families,
in the company of friends.
The Stanford Inn by the Sea is a wonderful location
for weddings - and we specialize in working with
you to create a wedding especially for you.
Food service can include a wine and or champagne
reception, appetizers, seated brunch, lunch, or
dinner. Live music is permissible but no later than
11:00 PM

Wedding Sizes
We
can accommodate weddings and receptions from two
(we will provide the witness and officiant) to
100.
The number
we can accommodate will in part depend on the
time of day, location chosen and the nature of
your reception.
Weddings are often
stressful and it can be difficult to get together
with significant friends and family and we always
suggest that you leave time just to talk with
those you may have not seen for a while. Getting
together for breakfast before the wedding will
give you time with your friends. If you would
like we can provide a space for a small welcoming
reception the night before.

Ceremony
Locations:
You may choose to have your ceremony in The Herb
Garden or among the raised
beds of our organic gardens. There is eating for
100 in the herb garden and for about 50 among the
raised beds.
To the left is pictured our Front Lawn with an Ocean
View: Seating can be arranged for up to 100 people.
Indoors,
we can arrange a ceremony in the Lobby, in front
of the fireplace and provide seating for up to 70
people. To assure privacy, you may choose the Big
River Room for up to 70 people in theatre seating.
and for a smaller wedding, the Mendocino Room
allows 40. If you wish, you may use
your guest room. |

Reception
Locations:
The
Ravens' Dining Room Seating up to 100 available
from 1:00 to 4:00 PM most days
The
Big River Room Seating for up to 70 people, available
at any time
The Mendocino Room Seating for up to 30 people
On the Grounds for up to 100.

Fees
The simplest wedding is just the two of you, and
two of us, one to photograph and witness your celebration
and Jeff, who is a minister, to provide the ceremony.
There is no separate facility fee*. After your ceremony,
a bottle of Mendocino sparkling wine will be waiting
in your room. We will be happy to email you a copy
of our wedding ceremony.
$300
Just
the officiating, with your witnesses, photographers,
etc. Fee is to be paid to the Mendocino Children's
Fund. Facility fees may apply which will depend
on size and what is needed. $200*
For larger weddings, facility fees are negotiated
based on use of our accommodations by you and your
wedding party
Rates $1,250 - $5,000 |
*The officiant
fee will go in your name to the Mendocino Coast
Children's Fund.
